- 评分 2 / 5来自 Buster Blue， 8 年前You need to make an account to use it, and the extension also tracks you, placing ads on web pages that it never tells you about. Still, the actual spell checker is good.

Firstly, you have to have an account. You can get one for free, although the will still have access to your personal information. There is no reason for a company to require you to have an account to use a free product, other than tracking.
Also, they collect your data and sell it to advertisers. This includes everything you type. I have yet to find out whether or not that includes passwords, but I would assume it does.
Finally, it's a bit slower than other programs.

Not suitable for fast typers, incredibly slow and has now started a war with Adblockers because of their YouTube adverts. I have uBlock origin installed and yet this still gets through. Complete BS.

Not mentioning the paywall the add-on has some annoying bugs that stopped me using it: the overlay Grammarly textbox breaks out of most modern-css text inputs and also hides the typing caret until you disable the add-on

- I have Dyslexia and often misspell words. This app as given me extra confidence when writing important emails, knowing that it will correct any mistakes I make. Thanks you!
The only problem I find is, when watching Youtube videos, it can sometimes slow the page and video to a crawl. Sometimes I have to reload the entire video and disable the grammarly app on youtube. - 评分 5 / 5来自 Lee Schelin， 8 年前Program works nicely with Thunderbird but their pricing model needs to be revisited. Way too expensive as spell check feature is already in Thunderbird. They would gain many more customers and have better cash flow if their pricing was revisited

HOWEVER!
If you are a fast writer, then I CANNOT with good conscious recommend this app.
While I was making a long comment on Facebook, the process was made longer by having this app enabled while writing, because the app could not keep up with my speed of writing, and caused Firefox to run very slowly and laggy, making me wait a second or two before I would be able to see what I've just written, and words would more often than not be jumbled into each other as I had not paused a split second between each fully spelled word so that the app could keep up with controlling words and sentences.
As soon as I had disabled the app, everything went smoothly and perfectly again, and I could write at my own speed again with no laggs or anything.
If the creator can somehow fix this issue, then I would give the app top rating, but seeing as how I want to write at my own speed with no issues, I cannot give this a better score than a 3 star score. - 评分 5 / 5来自 Batch1082009， 8 年前This is so useful, it shows the errors, spelling and Grammar, you even learn after a while..
