Itachi Uchiha is one of the most complex and prominent characters in the Naruto series. He was a genius of the Uchiha clan, and held the position of Anbu captain at a very young age. Although he was considered a traitor for massacred his entire clan, it was later revealed that Itachi did so to protect Konoha from a bloody civil war.
