I like their attitude, I like that they give you a couple of free macros without having pay, I like that they offer to discuss it with people who don't have the budget for to pay full price for a license, and I like that the interface is clear and simple.
What I don't like is that it just doesn't work. You record a macro, and it appears to be totally random whether it can find the interface elements again that you clicked on. I just wasted about 2 hours deleting and re-recording a the same simple macro over and over again, and I never got it to play back correctly twice in a row. Even if nothing moves, suddenly it stops running and tells you it can't find the things you told it to click on. The same macro might work once, and then, with nothing having changed, the next time it just pukes and stops saying it can't find the elements it found perfectly fine a moment before.
It just doesn't work. It was just a waste of my time.
Maybe with extremely simple static websites it might work, but I never got it to work consistently with a moderately complex, pretty graphical site, even though I was just trying to click a couple of buttons that were always in the same place. I don't know what it's using to identify page elements, but it's just broken. It also sometimes seems to run steps out of order. I had it download a file, hitting return to save the download, and closing the window, and sometimes it closed the window before the download was triggered to save, leaving a modal dialog hanging on the screen. Just not usable for my purposes at all.
Disappointing, because, like I said, I like their approach in every other way. I really wanted to like it.
Update: You know what, I went back and tried again a few more times. I thought maybe, since it absolutely was clueless how to find the buttons again by name that I specifically showed it how to click, that if I just used absolute coordinates and told it to always resize the window to the original position first, that might work.
And of course it didn't. This thing just totally randomly clicks all over the place, every single time I run the same macro it clicks different things. This thing should be removed from the Add-Ons site, because IT WASTES PEOPLE'S TIME. I've now lost a whole night hoping to get it to work and I haven't seen the slightest evidence that it's able to EVER hit the same button twice, no matter what you do, no matter how you set it it. It's just a totally broken piece of junk that CANNOT CORRECTLY PLAY BACK THE MACROS YOU'VE RECORDED.
