Mark my word is a free browser extension to highlight text on the web and export it to your favorite tool:
- Highlight text in the Browser on any website on Desktop and Mobile.
- Extended highlight formatting for lists, titles, or code.
- Automatic formatting of long highlights to keep your highlights structured.
- Add comments to your highlights.
- Hide or show individual highlights.

Manage your Highlights
Manage all your highlights in the browser with the Mark my Word sidebar:
- Search and filter your highlights.
- Organize your highlights in folders.
- Adjust your highlighting experience to your needs.

Export your Highlights
Export your highlights to your tool of choice:
- Copy formatted markdown to your clipboard.
- Paste your highlights into your favorite tool such as Notion, Obsidian, Evernote, and more.
- Export only new highlights that have not been exported before.

Pages & Folders:
- Creating the first highlight on a Website creates a new page.
- Highlights for one page can be easily exported via a new menu.
- The "Saved Pages" view replaces the old "All" view and makes it easier to manage and keep an overview over your highlights.
- Organize, manage, and export highlights with Folders.
- Each page can be associated with one Folder.
- store all related highlights in a folder to easily view and export related highlight.

Improvements:
- The context menu for highlights was rendered outside of the browser window for highlights close to the edge of the window.
- When writing a comment for a highlight, the key strokes leaked to the website which could trigger shortcuts such as pausing videos or similar.
