Advantage over the current most popular autoconverter: decimal separation uses "." instead of ",". Both are valid but international scientific writing uses "." - of course an option to customize the separator would be even better.
Current misgivings (without repeating other reviews): cannot do range (e.g., for 1.8-2.5 miles the result only converts 2.5 miles); the EU flag is fun but will get cluttered on page with a lot of converted units. Not to mention that it feels exclusionary when the rest of the world also use metric.
Cheers for the review. Yep it would be nice if it was smarter and could handle ranges. I don't have a github setup because I'm not really an "active" developer. The addon is "good enough" for me. RE: the EU flag - if you think of a more suitable emoji I can consider it 👍 - 评分 3 / 5来自 Firefox 用户 18515359, 10 个月前Does not work if something is written like “28k miles”.
Also inches sometimes are written like “10"”, then it also does not work.
Mpgs are not translated correctly.
Works on mobile firefox btw
Cheers for the review! Yep the detection is quite basic - although we should really blame the Americans! Quotes and apostrophes are a whole can of worms unfortunately. Good news, I hope to release an update soon that fixes the MPG bug! Does the job well. Freedom units are translated to something that actually makes sense 🇪🇺

Cheers! Sorry, but a whitelist is out of scope at this stage. I see how it can be annoying tho!
Cheers. Yep I looked into this as well, tricky part is there's no way to tell if pounds refers to currency or weight. I'll keep thinking about it 👍- Finally! Countless times I wrote to the American websites asking to put normal units of measurement too. If the Internet is international it should be all the way. Instead of the damn cookie law the European Union should have dealt with this annoyance. Instead they added another with having to say ok all the time to that thing.
