Microsoft Teams Enhancer adds productivity features to the Microsoft Teams web interface that you can enable or disable based on your preferences.

FEATURES

Compact UI Mode
Reduces margins and padding throughout Teams to maximize screen space. Affects chat lists, message panes, and compose areas. Toggle on or off anytime.

Smart Copy
Formats copied messages with author names and timestamps. Teams normally strips this information when copying, which Microsoft considers intended behavior. Smart Copy restores it.

Groups consecutive messages from the same person within a configurable time window (default 5 minutes). Output includes clear separators between different authors.

Keyboard shortcuts:
- Ctrl+C for smart formatted copy (default)
- Ctrl+Shift+C for standard copy
- Swap shortcuts option available in settings

Plain Text Paste
Ctrl+Shift+V pastes text without formatting. Removes rich text automatically. Works in all Teams compose areas and text fields.

Custom Context Menu
Right-click selected chat text for copy options. Menu matches Teams dark theme styling.
- "Copy" for standard copy
- "Copy Formatted" for smart copy with chaining

Settings
All features can be toggled independently. Access quick toggles via the extension popup, or visit the options page for detailed configuration including the message chain time window.

PRIVACY

No data collection. All processing happens locally in your browser. Settings are stored only in browser sync storage. No external servers or analytics.
