The Protect add-on does not use any analytics or spy on your activity in any way. It does not require you to create a user account or sign into it to use it. You can use the add-on completely anonymously. If you use the Protect extension you will not be targeted by any remarketing or adverts. PhishFort will never share your email address with anyone for any reason, even if you provide it to us.

The only time that information is collected from users is when reporting a malicious URL. Only the information necessary to perform a takedown of the malicious content is collected, namely the suspicious URL and the victim URL, and any additional comment submitted by the user.
