This is a generic "update" from the original "Desktop" addon. Now you have to login to Desktop AND the browser plugin.

The Desktop is the better option as it's easier to use for notes and better interface. The plugin should be used as simplicity for autofill on webpages, not as the overall product.

PLEASE bring back desktop functionality to this plugin!

With the standalone extension, you don't need to use desktop app anymore. Everything is perfectly covered within new browser add-on. To quickly add secure note, click extension logotype, + icon at the bottom of the extension dropdown and then write a note on the dedicated browser page. Voila. :)

Good password manager, but terrible and slow customer service. I had to remove the MFA on my account due to a new phone and I did not have access to my recovery codes anymore. After jumping through several hoops, each taking a day for them to respond, I was suddenly asked to resubmit everything I had already submitted. I will rather reset all my passwords than deal with Nord in the future. Will definitely not consider any of their products again.

When it had to connect to the desktop app, it was often messing up. Now that the add-on is independent of the desktop app, it has been working great all of the time.

Very handy. I have been using it for about 4 years and am still happy. Some issues may appear when you clean your PC of clutter, but after reactivating the add-on, everything returns to normal.
