This add-on uses the Here Location API to locate the position of the addresses entered by the users. Whenever an address is entered by the user, an API call is made to geocoder.api.here.com via HTTPS, and the string address is sent to Here in order to retrieve the corresponding information including the latitude and longitude of the address, which are essential for calculating the prayer times.

Moreover, the add-on uses the browser's built-in geolocation once during the add-on installation in order to retrieve the current position, and then convert the position to a string address via a secure API call to Here. This information is only used for initializing the add-on, and is kept only in the browser's local database.
