Privacy Badger is a project managed by the EFF. It improves privacy by blocking third party trackers and cookies. It also doesn't get in the way because it whitelists domains that promise not to track you and can also partially block something to keep it functional.

    I use it alongside Firefox's built-in tracking protection for the embedded media placeholders.

    (Sadly, it no longer auto-detects new trackers, because someone figured out how to track you using *that*, so it uses a pre-generated list now unless you *really* want to turn learning back on.)
