- I have used PureVPN for several years now on windows and android using the applications. The plugin's work just as well and makes it easier to control when the VPN is used. Some banks and payment systems assume an account has been compromised when requests come from VPN shielded sites. Also, local devices such as routers do not allow connection via VPN. Having all traffic go through a VPN automatically is not a good option for these cases.
