- Great extension. Though, weird issue happens to me when I pin them to the taskbar (Windows 11), it reverts to the Firefox icon. Also, it would be great in the future if we could add the web apps to the Windows Start Menu.
Edit to answer the reply: Yes, the behavior (reverting to the Firefox icon when pinned to the taskbar) happens with all the web apps (I created 10).开发者回应
发布于 1 年前Does it happen with all PWAs or just specific ones? If it's just some, it might be because they're using SVG icons, which aren't fully supported currently. That will be fixed in the future. - 评分 5 / 5来自 Firefox 用户 14789689, 1 年前I was so very disappointed that I couldn't turn my favorite web based email program, which doesnt offer a desktop app, into a web app the way you can in MS Edge. After installing a couple of necessary support pieces .. this works like a CHARM! My Web based email now works as well as any desktop application.

I still don't understand why this is even needed. All I want is the exact same functionality that used to exist and doesn't no reasons like reasons. All I want is the Google Messages icon pinned to my taskbar so I can text from my computer without finding the tab it's on. This should not be that difficult.

发布于 1 年前Flatpak is not supported because it doesn't provide the necessary APIs yet. You can read more details here: https://pwasforfirefox.filips.si/help/faq/#why-doesnt-the-extension-find-the-native-connector-on-linux
You will need to use normal Firefox (from Mozilla website or their DEB repository) instead.- 评分 2 / 5来自 MysticSoft, 1 年前i have both extension and firefoxpwa installed but it says unexpected error occured, does e being user of windows 7 play factor in that?

发布于 1 年前Please check troubleshooting tasks (https://pwasforfirefox.filips.si/help/troubleshooting/) to obtain the extension and native logs and create an issue on GitHub. Also, Windows 7 is no longer supported, so you might experience issues because of that. - 评分 5 / 5来自 Firefox 用户 18439079, 1 年前

发布于 2 年前Have you linked the manifest as described in the installation instructions? Also, please create a discussion on GitHub: https://github.com/filips123/PWAsForFirefox/discussions - It's a little finicky out of the box on Zorin OS, which defaults to flatpak Firefox. But I found I could switch to the snap version and have success installing the additional components necessary. I've also noticed I often need to launch PWAs twice, the first time they close immediately and the second launch they perform fine. I like being able to control whether the PWA uses it's own or a shared profile. I've found the shared profile useful for using Office365 apps like Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams which I need for work, but isolated profiles are great most of the time.
