This plugin was fantastic until it stopped working all of a sudden. Nothing to do with updates of anykind, (Windows, Firefox, etc.) it just stopped updating it's database with any new additions or changes made.
It has retained the old bookmarks and customisations made but to make matters worse it rescans and resets ALL the new bookmarks added and this introduces a lot of lag & CPU spiking which makes my PC feel really sluggish. Also this rescan renames all the new bookmarks added in the actual Bookmarks folder.
A few people including myself have reported this issue but there doesn't seem to be any interest in fixing it.
So this addon is now unusable. Such a shame as I had this addon setup nice and functional over the time I used it.

- 评分 5 / 5来自 Drunken Kong， 2 年前One of my favorite Add-Ons... Buuuut, there's an small issue, NO data/ settings export feature + picture path included. One good way is to use mozbackup. But export feature would be fine anyways.

Instead another page (extension ?) appears called Speed Dial !! Where are all my Quick Dial links !!?? Is there a way to retrieve them. And, if so, how do I backup ?

- 评分 2 / 5来自 Rusty Trombone， 3 年前This was my favorite dial extension for years (and I've tried a lot) as it's very configurable and goes beyond a single page, but it kept malfunctioning a couple of times a year and had to be reset, which just took too long time to do without a backup system, so I've now given it up and uninstalled it. Using Group Speed Dial instead which is rock solid. Thanks anyway.

- Hilfreich, aber viel Verbesserungspotential. So hätte ich gerne die Option Tabs im Hintergrund in einem neuen Tab zu öffnen. Derzeit springt Quick Dial zum neuen Tab und ich muss wieder auf die Homepage gehen wenn ich mehrere Dials öffnen möchte. Quick Dial sollte sich an FVD Speed Dial ein Beispiel nehmen, welches leider seitens Firefox deaktiviert wurde.
