- This is actually really good with the Google Translate API + a bit slower speed! Works perfectly as intended in Linux Mint 18.3. The other TTS engines I tried were either using default TTS engines, which sounded boring; or had Google Translate API capped so I had to always select texts. For this, all I had to do was load a web page and then click on the Read Aloud button from toolbar after configuring the settings.
