This is excellent for blocking ad content and redirects. The often recommended "block site" add-on will still navigate away and show you a page saying the URL is blocked. This add-on keeps you on your intended page and makes unwanted content just never load.

Works well, all it needs is a toolbar button or some way to toggle on and off without disabling the extension.

Fantastic, exactly what I needed to complete built-in Firefox ETP in strict mode.
Using "Lightbeam 3.0" I can see which domains can still follow me and then ask to "Request Blocker" to block them.
Also I've checked under 'about:performance' and it only takes 439 Ko ! Awesome.

Finally! On profiles without admin (access to etc/hosts) I can now login to different account on YouTube and on Google by blocking *://accounts.youtube.com/* (plus few extra steps).
