RockPaperSimmer Companion Extension — Privacy Policy

What This Extension Collects

When saving a recipe:
- Recipe details (name, ingredients, instructions, prep times, etc.)
- The recipe's URL (prevents duplicate imports)
- A snapshot of the webpage's HTML (improves parsing speed and reliability)

For account connection:
- An authorization token to verify your identity
- This token is deleted after connection is complete

Data Transmission

• Recipe data is sent to RockPaperSimmer servers when you save a recipe
• The extension stores minimal local data (recipe IDs and authorization status)

Local Storage

• The extension stores recipe IDs locally to track what you've already saved
• You can clear this local data through the extension settings

Security

All communications with the server use HTTPS. While security measures are in place, no system is completely impenetrable.
