来自 waifu，7 年前It is so UNFAIR that some people complains about symlink.
It is TOTALLY FireFox's fault for adding such restriction in WebExtension since 57. Please go give FireFox 1 star instead of the addon. FireFox just need to 'fix' it.
The restriction is really silly, if an extension can fudge a web page and lure you to download a virus, why not letting a legit extension to access file system for productivity!
That aside, I can't or don't know how to save link target of an image link instead of the image, is it not supported?
