Privacy assurance

The scite.ai extension collects references to academic identifiers while you are browsing and modifies the website to display scite badges and the scite extension pop up. No other information is collected, used, or shared in any other way. The exception to this is if users search citation statements, in which the user much select text they want to search and click search in the context menu in order to do so.
The academic idenfitiers such as DOIs are only sent to the scite.ai API and no other place. The citation searches are redirected to the citation search page with the selected text. No external or third party services are used in this extension.
