*Update:
Thank you so much for the response; I didn't realize there was a free plan after the trial. Just made an account on acrcloud and the add-on works correctly again. Bumped rating to 5 stars.开发者回应
发布于 7 年前There's a cap on these ID things, as the service isn't really even free. If you're a hardcore user, I recommend making your own account at acrcloud.com. You get 100 id's for free every day on the 'free plan', which starts after the trial plan ends.
Check the preferences page.
Thanks for letting me know this happened. I'll see if there's something I can do.
edit: thanks for updating, and thanks for the extra feedback. I'll make sure to include information about the free plan/trial somewhere as well, based on this. - 评分 1 / 5来自 Firefox 用户 14047163,7 年前Yeah, works for about 40 succeeded song recognitions BUT after that, you need to upgrade your account, which basically means that you need to buy the fucking extention. Why not just use ads? I'm not gonna pay for something like this. I can use shazam on my phone just fine.

发布于 7 年前Yeah, I made this so people could find that one odd song out there - every once in a while. Not really every song in their library. You can make your own account at acrcloud.com and get 100 free ID's every day, just for yourself. Check out the preferences page.
I'mma contact acrcloud (when I have time) and see if there's something they can do here, but I really suggest you make your own accounts if you have a big backlog of things to ID. Or use shazam like you suggested yourself.
There's actually no way of "buying" this addon, it's just the message the server gives off. I'll change that sometime.
Sorry for the misguided hopes, and thanks for letting me know this happened. - 评分 5 / 5来自 Firefox 用户 13982108,7 年前

I read the reviews and one review in particular had instructions which helped even though it was a somewhat involved process, so I will copy and paste it here if anyone running into the same issue has the patience to try to resolve it as intended:

A lot of people are having trouble setting up the account here is how to do it.
1. Go to https://console.acrcloud.com
2. Create an account.
3. Select your geographical region
2. Click 'Audio & Video Recognition' then 'Projects'.
3. Select 'Audio & Video Recognition' again and click 'Create Project'.
4. Any name will do, select 'Recorded Audio' and 'ACRCloud Music' as the bucket, allow all 3rd party integration.
5. After creating project there will be 3 text strings to copy into the options portion of the Song ID extension. Copy the 'Host', 'access key' and 'secret key' to the corresponding entries.
6. If the project 'Status Check' is 2/2 with a tick mark next to it you have done everything correctly.
You DO NOT need to create a custom bucket for Song ID to work.

In Firefox at least, the unique 'host', 'access key' and 'secret keys' are to be manually entered into the app's 'manage extensions' page under the 'preferences' tab. After having done that, the problem was completely solved for me. Solid app, and great work!
My original review ~2017:
Just installed. Runs beautifully in Firefox Quantum for (K)ubuntu so far. Comes up with a match almost every time I've used it so far, and correctly (as far as I've been able to tell), even with reasonably new tunes. Keep up the good work!
