Data Collection and Usage
The Tab Guardian browser extension is designed with your privacy in mind. During normal browsing or any other interaction with your browser, no user data is collected, transmitted, or stored externally. All information processed by the extension remains strictly within your browser's local storage and is never synchronized across devices.
Key Privacy Features:
- No External Data Transmission: The extension does not perform any AJAX requests or communicate with external servers.
- Local Storage Only: All saved tabs, groups, and related data are stored exclusively in your browser's local storage.
- Favicon Retrieval: The only external requests made are for fetching tab icons (favicons) and group icons, which are displayed within the extension. These icons are loaded directly from their respective domains and are not processed or stored by any third-party servers.
