发布于 6 年前1. ) You say extensions are exposed to privacy and security risks - if you sincerely believe that, you should report it to the Mozilla browser project and not specific extensions. They would need you to provide some actual specifics to back up that claim!
2. ) I'm not sure who/what "they" is/are.
3. ) A widely known method for detecting what one "browses on the internet" is third-party token access - this does not rely on add-ons at all. If you feel comfortable downloading it, I recommend the EFF's Privacy Badger add-on for giving you control over that.
4. ) Regarding monetization, this add-on was developed by me and given freely to you and everyone to use. I received nothing for it, but am happy to share something that I found useful for myself. One is also free to self-educate by reading the source code on Github. One can modify it and contribute something back to the community! - Then you can read and respond to funny review comments ; )
5. ) Thus, it is very easy to see that the source code for this add-on does nothing but open tabs. Unfortunately, that tab usage requires broad privileges in the current implementation of Firefox. If you take umbrage with this, as I did, perhaps you could open another issue with the browser team - add-ons have no control over that.
