Umair DeskPro – Agent Toolkit is a small productivity sidebar I built to make life easier for live chat agents who answer customers all day.

Instead of keeping replies in Notepad files or separate documents, this add-on keeps your canned replies, SOP links, and notes in one place – right next to your chat or CRM window.

What it does

• Shows a “UD” button at the bottom-right of the page. Clicking it opens or closes the Umair DeskPro sidebar.
• Lets you save your own canned replies with a title and full message text.
• Lets you quickly insert a reply into the active chat box, or copy it to the clipboard if direct insert is not possible on that site.
• Stores important SOP links (title, URL, and an optional description) and opens them in a new tab with one click.
• Provides a notes area where you can keep quick reminders, escalation points, or case-handling tips.
• Includes a “Copy Escalation Template” button that copies a simple escalation skeleton you can paste into an email or ticket and fill in.
• Offers a light and dark theme that you can switch in the Settings tab.

How it works

• The add-on injects a small sidebar into the current page using a content script.
• All data (canned replies, SOP links, notes, and the chosen theme) is saved using the standard browser extension storage API.
• The extension does not try to control or modify websites beyond inserting text into the currently focused input, textarea, or content-editable field when you explicitly click “Insert”.

• Anyone who answers the same types of questions many times per day and wants a simple, local library of responses and SOP links.

Privacy and data collection

• This add-on does not collect or send any personal data to external servers.
• All information you enter (replies, links, notes, and settings) is stored locally in the browser’s extension storage.
• There are no analytics, tracking scripts, or remote logging built into this version.

The goal of Umair DeskPro – Agent Toolkit is to help human agents respond faster, stay consistent with their SOPs, and still have full control over every message they send.
