What is this nonsense? Stick to facts/evidences and stop spreading disinformation.
uMatrix and uBlock Origin connects only to download assets used (filter lists, hosts files), and you have full control over this. I know of no content blocker in the same class as uBlock Origin which do not need to regularly download filter lists for their proper functioning, so you have to be trolling to claim that I am "famous" for what is the expected behavior.

Requires customization for most sites, worth it if you are already used to NoScript (I use this one now instead, allowing, by default, only 1st party content without scripts, which I enable manually). Once set up for your main sites not much of a hassle. Sometimes requires some experimenting to find out which content is actually required. - The add-on is amazing! but there is a issue that I can't solve, the uMatrix is blocking the videos from hotmart.com (these videos are from vimeo), when I access my course, instead of viewing my course video I see "Sorry Because of its privacy settings, this video cannot be played here."
I allowed everything on this site in the uMatrix, changed everythinig to green, but no success too, I disabled the uMatrix for this site too, nothing changed.
If I go in Firefox Extensions and disable the uMatrix and reload the page the video loads with no problem, please when you have the time, can you take a look into this issue?

- A great addition to Ublock Origin if you are a power user who is concerned about your privacy and would like fine grained control over your web browser.
