Stopped working for a few weeks; youtube recommendations started to get stupider and stupider, couldn't add any more channels to block. Now it works again! It makes a HUGE difference to youtube, turns it back into what it was originally, a user centered experience, not a desperate attempt for google to sell me rubbish click bait channels

I have the keywords "Breath of the Wild" and "BotW" blocked. I just tried my hardest to get any Breath of the Wild results to show up in my search results and my recommended feeds (both in the homepage and on the sidebar when watching a video), and I didn't see any. This is exactly what I wanted. Thank you for this. :)

Quick, easy to use, works perfectly.
Sometimes when blocking a channel while on a video of that channel, the add-on locks the browser for a couple seconds. Nothing major though.

Pitty that there is no mobile version. Finally got rid of freak family and toy reviews. Ty to the creator

Overall youtube has really become a garbage community, but now with this addon you can just right click a thumbnail from a channel you don't like and it disappears from your computer - its very seamless and works amazingly. not sure why people are giving it hate in the reviews, maybe because they have crappy drama and poltical channels and don't want to lose views? FYI: freedom of speech just means that the government can't stop you from saying what you want to say. It does not mean that people have to agree with you and it doesn't mean that they can't ignore you :)

I like to occasionally "backup" my block list by exporting it to a cloud drive in case i ever have to reinstall my browser or OS i can just reimport all the crappy channels back to block list! Works perfectly!

I also highly recommend "herp a derp" addon which turns all the comments into random herps and derps (which is basically what they are anyways) - you are welcome!

meanwhile un-install this update, go to the link that he provides above and install 2.0.1 and make sure you set "look for updates" to OFF.
come back here in a few months to see how the updates are going.

this all happens because Mozilla tells developpers to use a new framework that is a pain in the ass.
so what is new in life, but do not take it out on Lemonrice, he will get it sorted, but it will take time.

I loved this for so long. It was the answer to my prayers. I never had any of the "stopped working"-type problems others complain of, until...

The August 11 2016 update nuked my block list -- no big deal, I probably only had a dozen or two channels blocked and I can redo that that. But I'm also disappointed that the right-click (aka context menu?) feature has gone away. Not a big deal, still going to give five stars because this is still so much better than YouTUbe on its own and the creator is doing this for donations only, so yeah, 5 (pity) stars, like 4 stars overall, and only 1 star compared to the pre-Aug. 11 version.

What the hell has happened in the most recent automatic update ? I cannot right-click block no more ...
