AVD used to be the better of most Firefox video download programs out there.
The design was clean, it worked well and was able to grab videos that others could not.
Nice work by the developers.
No disrespect to the developers but this latest version really looks like it could need some finetuning.
To me, it seems on the bloated side and cluttered when compared to the previous versions.
It also seems more difficult to use and possibly buggy.
For example, I am unable to remove failed downloads, even though the source tabs have been shut down.
I am going to remove and reinstall it, see how it goes from there.

This 3.10 update should be removed from all public records. Sites should revert back to showing 3.9 as the latest.
In fact, 3.9 IS the latest, since whatever the hell this is, simply shouldn't exist.

Used to be great, todays version however is complete broken crap. I immediately reverted to the older version as far as the browser extension goes, but that didnt solve much either, I also had to revert the native app to the older version as well. Now it can properly detect videos again. The latest simply couldn't, and I don't like the fact that you have to close tabs to get them unlisted from the download page either. Extremely chaotic and messy when you want/need your tabs have to stay open.

Used to work greatly, since the new version came out it fails half the time.

edit: I found the answer to my problem, it was asking firewall permission

dernière mise a joue 24/12/2021 ne fonctionne vraiment plus ,ne trouve plus les vidéos ,la fenêtre ne s'ouvre plus quand il trouve une malheureuse vidéo a revoir depuis cette dernière mise a jour

Awesome app, but recently it's stopped to work and can't download vids, when splitted in segments. Error: libcurl failed to fetch media segment , libcurl error code 23. Hope it's usefull, so next update can fix this issue

Used to be pretty good. Now all it does is say "Finished" immediately after downloading exactly one byte. Pretty annoying and pointless now...

Best downloader on the internet.No other downloader is better, give it a try.Over the years the Ant downloader has never let me down. It's great, free, and with no restrictions in its use.This is my favourite extension. I would give more than five stars if I could.
