Webroot supports the right to privacy and understands the importance of protecting personal information and complying with applicable data protection laws. This addendum specifically applies to the Firefox extension for Webroot SecureAnywhwere (WSA) Endpoint agent.
What data is collected:
Webroot collects and maintains data as necessary to provide, operate, and support our services. We may collect information which includes but is not limited to:User specific information, which may include URL and IP Address, Vector of a webpage - These are small portions of the webpage you visit to determine potential phishing sites. The information collected here is always in an encrypted and hashed format, which cannot be decoded by humans, License number – this information does not contain any personal information. However, Webroot employees may look up user details from the license number to provide services and customer support to you.
How We Protect Your Data
Securing your data, both online and offline, is a priority for us. We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information and ensure a level of security appropriate to the risk.
All our employees are subject to confidentiality agreements and undergo annual training on the proper handling of personal information.
