来自 Firefox 用户 13434351，4 年前Very biased ratings on any site that is conservative. Liberal sites are highly rated. I was checking out a site that I am familiar with because WOT rated them as a suspect site and I wanted to see why. There were 8 ratings, 6 five star and 2 one star. The average rating was THREE STAR. How was that calculated? The site was rated Yellow based on two derogatory tags and when I tried to rate it I could not access the rating system to comment. This site has been hijacked and is untrustworthy.

In order to be transparent and enable our users to form an independent, unbiased opinion, websites that are of a political nature (on any side of the political map) are tagged on our Scorecard as “Opinions, religion, politics”.
In addition, both WOT users and our advanced algorithms review websites and scan them for malware or malicious activity in order to provide protection against viruses and privacy matters.
Since WOT is a platform powered by crowdsourcing, we enable various opinions and ratings - everyone’s opinion counts and is taken into consideration.
