which makes no sense, and there was no easy explanation found on Google.
Waste of time.

My recommendation is to just simply copy the transcript over to your ChatGPT tab. Also it requests access to some "Allizom.org" even if you were already signed in to everything.

发布于 1 年前Sorry you felt it's sketchy but we don't use your credentials for anything sketchy. The login is to save your summaries for you if you re-summarize the same video and if you use the premium features like GPT-4.

They've thrown in a bunch of analytics, data collection, forced logins, and even slapped on some "premium features". Oh, and did I mention it doesn't even work? Save yourself the trouble and skip this one.

Login is to be able to save your summaries, stop malicious attacks and enable premium features like GPT-4 if needed.

You made it paid only. What a sh*t extension. Do not use this. Use something else. This used to be free with an OpenAI key, they are now making BANK on the same thing. Do not use.
