Works great, but it appears in a hidden HTML spot. I have to open up the inspector, search for "downloader", and drag the button so it's below "info-text", then it works as intended. It'd be great if it was fixed to appear in the right spot again.

Update: v.0.2.4 fixed my issue! Thank you! It now works and appears properly. It will require a tool to mux after download for quality above 720p. I recommend MKVToolNix.

Thanks for the quick fix, I thought YT changed their stuff again just this Feb 2018. I'm glad this add-on can download those videos agian. This is my top-rated YT downloader, especially since it can DL those separate DASH streams (eg. M4V video, Opus audio) while others can only offer combined MP4 and WebM.

Long Story Long:
Tried all things on Opera, no adfree addons.
Tried Chrom (no YT downloads allowed anym ore WTF )
Back to slow FF, tried some YT DLers, and guess which one is working and gives what is neccery:

After looking at the size of others videos 720HD seems to be enough.

So THANKS for this addon, even this was the reason to register with Mozilla to write it ...

And I actually analyzed the source code and couldn't find any suspicious code! Stop blaming the addon for something that is not true. Author may have just forgotten to restrict permissions.

It's exactly as the developer describes, would be even better with a mp3 download support.

I absolutely love this add-on. This is the only youtube add-on that ALWAYS stays enabled, before this one I would disable/enable add-ons when needed [& restarting FF].
1 problem though is that the 480 res is never available - 720 is the highest I use & 360 res is too poor. I find some youtube clips are too big @720 res - I'll try to disable WEBM format, maybe it is blocking the 480 res from the list.
