This is literally the greatest extension
It literally returns you back to a proper youtube where you don't feel gaslit and overstimulated by garbage algorithim and actually get to search and look for what you need.

Oh thank GOD an extension like this was written! Thank you so much, there's so many little tweaks here and there I wish I could make when looking through my YT searches and this is like a gold mine of them.. gonna spread the word on this one

BTW, hiding the shorts panel is working for me (tested it right now) on Firefox Windows
I mainly downloaded this so I can stop seeing videos that I already saw before in the search results which is super useful to me

I really have been wanting to get rid of the obtrusive and offensive horizontal list of shorts that come up every time I open youtube. This extension is supposed to help with that, but unfortunately I cannot tell whether it does anything at all, as the shorts are still there. I did check it at the filter settings of the extension and also clicked F5 to reset youtube. I would like to know how to get it to work.

You see shorts
Disable shorts (again)
you still see them
reload
you still see them
uninstall addon
