I got this for the time tracker but that doesn't work; if a youtube video ends and I don't have autoplay on and don't start a new video, it keeps adding time to the tracker even though no video is playing.

Edit: It looks like there's a bug where the tracker keeps counting time if the youtube tab is in the foreground but firefox as a whole is in the background.

That is correct. This is by design - the extension's main goal is to limit the time you spend on YouTube which includes scrolling, reading comments, etc. and not just watching a video.

Note that it only tracks time spent if you have YouTube open as the "active" tab. It should not count towards total time spent if you have YouTube opened in the background (there is a setting for this - enabled by default), or not in the active tab.

its a very great extension, and works very well! problem is, it also limits youtube music, which, yknow, isn't unproductive... i struggled a lot after hitting my limit. thats the only gripe i have for this extension.
I was gonna give a 4 star, but seeing how incredibly well made the other features are compared to other extensions, i'd still give it a 5!
