deleting this add-on, why does a video downloader need so many permissions?

stopped working again where are the audio files ?

This was a great extension to FF for me. However, recent version 1.12 is unusable. Error discovered early December. When YD button is clicked, and Download Panel button is clicked, MP3 Converter window pops up with error
"Unable to retrieve video metadata".

Doesn't work.

Cant Find the Button in youtube.Using Latest Firefox. Fix this and i will give 5*.

Youtube video and audio downloader doesn't install native client properly, and doesn't combine audio and video in downloaded mp4 files. Do you know how to fix that? Thanks.

unable to download anymore

No longer works as of 14.02.18 gives this error, "youtube signatureLocal: Cannot resolve signature;2", I changed nothing I downloaded videos last night, I try today it gives this error I was even using the old version new version none works no more.

Quick Download button does not work like it used to be after Firefox Quantum update. It doesn't download 1080p anymore. It doesn't download m4a audio files either. Very frustrating to see such nice apps go bad. I had to switch to a stand-alone downloader software.

Addon is broken.

Very slow download speed opus format!!!!! (50Kbs)

I download the audio portion of videos. With the old app this was simple, as it downloaded the mp3 along with the mp4 with just a couple of clicks. Now I get just a video file and the process it extract the audio is beyond me.

Hopefully this app can be improved to make it as simple as the old one.
