A smooth running browser is way more important than slow internet traffic. Whoever is spying on me will answer to God for it in the end. I'll just let Him handle it.

发布于 6 年前As a secure VPN service costs money, and we don't sell user data or in other ways make money on our free users. the free version is possible only from the help of our Premium and Ultimate users. Because of this, we encourage our users to upgrade so that we can keep on providing a secure free version. I hope this makes it a bit clearer. A year ago or so it was perfectly fine, now its a PURE GARBAGE 90% time of the day it feels like somebody is taking all the bandwidth and I get only the rest 0,01% and now problem is not with my ISP or connection I have 100 mb/s with ease without proxy

发布于 7 年前Hello, thank you for your feedback. When rerouting through the VPN, the connection needs to travel through different networks and depending on the way it takes it can happen that you sometimes experience slower speed.
It can be that even though you have a fast connection and you're connecting to a high-speed ZenMate server, the connection is slowed down somewhere between. This is also why, most of the time, servers closer to your real l location, where there is a shorted physical distance for the network to travel, give you better connection speed than servers far away.
However, it can also be that there is an issue. If you continuously experience slow connection, and you are using a server close to your real location, please first try the workaround in this article: https://zenguard.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/201259161-

发布于 7 年前ZenMate is an on- click solution designed to work without manual setup. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that ZneMate will work behind another proxy. What you can try is to use our full desktop clients for Mac or Windows instead. All downloads are available via our website at zenmate.com. 发布于 7 年前When you downloaded the extension, click on the blue icon to get to the welcome page. Here, if you scroll to the bottom of the page, you will find the option to "Try limited instead". If you click there you will get to the free version.
Enjoy!- Almost 1 year ago i had a chat with supports, where i explained about one big problem (for me, at least ).
The problem was that after login at new device, or after reinstall browser/ OS, all "Smart Location" settings are disappear.
That's a huge shortcoming. i should create all my settings again and again, for every new device.
Now, after few months will be finished my 6 month plan and i'm go out.
Because this problem STILL doesn't fixed. You can check it by yourself and make sure.
P.S. i bought my last monthly plan through the cashback service. Almost 5 month ago. And they STILL not transferred money for the buyer-client. Hehehe, classic :)

The main reason it works like this is that Smart Locations is only stored in the extension on the local device. In the way the system works now, to save it between browser updates or between devices, we would have to save the Smart Locations on your account. This would mean that these pages would have to be logged on your account and that would be against our no logging Privacy policy. The system (not the policy) might change in the future, but as of now, to ensure total user anonymity, we will not be able to save your Smart Locations.

You can get to the free version if you click on "Try limited instead" on the bottom of the welcome page.
Our free version is possible because of our Paid Premium users and the feature Smart Price. Please keep in mind that secure VPN servers have a price. If there is no explanation for how the free service is paid for, you might not be using a very secure product.

However, with the Premium version, you can also use the desktop clients, mobile apps and Opera browser extension.
