it is not blocking ads

It just stopped blocking ads on mail.yahoo.com! It's been working fine up til now! Also, it guves an error everytine I try to add a custom filter too. WTF?! 🤨🤬

It's working on every other site, it seems though. 🤨😒

Tratándose de su uso en Firefox, hasta hace algunos meses funcionaba muy bien. Pero desde entonces comenzó a permitir SÓLO los anuncios de youtube por razones que desconozco. Para el resto de las páginas sigue siendo eficaz hasta hoy.

It worked fantastic for a long time, but a few days ago, something changed. I can no longer visit websites that are setup in a certain way, unless i turn off the Extension. X for example, or the tracking website for my local package delivery. They will load partially or give me a message saying the website cant currently be displayed and when i turn the extension off, it works per normal. Very odd. I will stick with it for now but if i end up having to whitelist most of the websites i use, i might have to change.

edit: I found out, by trial and error, its the Ultimate Privacy Filter thats the issue. If i deactivate it, i can load all pages in question, if i activate it, i cant.

Even though substack.com is whitelisted, it interferes with how some pages work. They won't load properly. Also, it forgets, and I have to re-disable it on the site. Substack.com should be whitelisted by default since it doesn't run ads.

needs to allow cloudfare on any website. I have to shut off AdBlocker so I can put that stupid checkmark on cloudfare. But then when I get past cloudfare, I get unwanted crap until I turn AdBlocker back on and resubmit the site to have it block the crap. Took off 1 star for that. And took off 1 star for the "this page is slowing down Firefox" and then having to press the STOP button. Sometimes the page (screen) gets frozen up so my mouse can't even press the stop button. They need to stop whatever script is causing this as it freezes up the computer.

Works like a dream; Except on Youtube. It still blocks midroll ads like it should, but re-opening youtube tabs after I open Firefox again makes the blocker miss the midroll ads completely. Either reloading the tab or turning the blocker off and on again starts blocking the ads like it should, so it's not completely hopeless. But it's certainly an annoying snag.

The most recent version of Adblocker is giving me trouble on MANY websites. Without any messages being posted about turning off Adblocker, these sites just won't load until I turn the extension off. This didn't happen in the years I've used Adblocker ... until about a month ago.

The most recent updates has resulted in several problemd I encounter with sites I frequently go to.

This add-on cause me problems using my banking website and a club website. The problem started recently. Since the last update the problems started.

periodically freezes the browser

I'd like to give it 5 stars, but all too frequently the ad blocking interferes with many websites functioning properly; i.e. such as contact forms. It also has difficulty blocking on my Yahoo mail's inbox. There is a banner which sits above my incoming inbox emails and it looks like the first email (which makes me click on it) but it is actually an ad. Sometimes Ad Blockers blocks this area effectively, but I notice that the ad will override and reappear. At that point I disable and re-enable to make this ribbon ad disappear. I hope they're listening! This ad block service claims to be "fighting the anti-adblocker messages some websites show when they detect the use of one". This feature doesn't seem to be working since I constantly see the message which tells me the website know I'm using an ad blocker and that I turn it off.
