- ReadX is currently the only TTS extension that works properly in Firefox/Android. You'd think that the alternative, ReadAloud, would be better since it is marked as recommended by Mozilla and has high quality voices, but that extension is unusable due to bugs.
ReadX is no frills and stable. I can stop it and start it anywhere in the page. The built-in voice is lousy, but understandable. I wish it could use Android's native TTS voices as I have the open source Piper voices installed and they sound fantastic. Still, until that is possible, this is what I'll use.開發者回應
