It actually inverts the issue. Without it, all tabs see themselves is invisible, with it all pages see themselves as visible. Autor recommends to use a separate profile or a Chrome-based browser to not apply the addon on all pages, which resluts in higher power consumption. (other idea: do not enable this addon for private mode and open tabs that are supposed to be not fake-active in private mode - however this has different side-effects)
