Does what it says! Simple and effective. My only gripe is that, if you only have 1 tab open, and try and switch it, the auto closing of the old tab (in order to open a new tab in the new container) causes the whole browser to close. If you have more than 1 tab active, then this doesn't happen.開發者回應
張貼於 5 天前Just fired up an update with an attempted fix for this bug I hadn't encountered before.
It seemingly works when stress-tested on a virtual machine (Windows) and on my daily driver (also Windows) but it could perhaps be a quirk related to your browser version/operating system.
Let me know if the update fixes it, I will check this review again in a couple days in case you edit it! 開發者回應
張貼於 6 個月前Sorry to hear you dislike rainbows. Version 1.1 allows for changing the icon theming. Right-click on the extension and click "Toggle Icon Theming" to revert back to a gray version of the icon. - This is so useful for me - having different 'hats' and organisations I do work for I use it every day. Also for testing websites with different user-roles, and for general privacy, its invaluable. The multi-account container tool by itself doesn't cut it because inevitably open tabs in the wrong account. One improvement - if it worked on a blank tab - ie when you first open a new tab, it could already reload in the profile you want, then I could remove the multi-account button all together, that would be nice.

張貼於 7 年前Due to limitations on what add-ons are allowed to do related to web security, tabs can't actually change containers. This add-on is a work around this limitation: it's not changing the tab, but rather duplicating the tab into a new one that comes inside a container.
