DOES NOT WORK! This still lets ads through, if the ad companies pay them to whitelist their ads. This is not an adblocker and should not be called one, since it can't even do the 1 thing it is supposed to do.

Hello!

Please be advised that no company can simply pay to have their ads shown. Publishers have to meet criteria set by the Acceptable Ads Committee before whitelisting is even considered. Most companies actually pay us nothing at all. Users still have the ability to block these ads by disabling “allow acceptable ads” in options. If you still experience ads with this feature disabled, please send us the URL along with a screenshot of your subscribed filter lists to support@adblockplus.org.     This will remain a 1 star until ABP decides to stop interrupting my mornings with pop-up ads. Other ad blockers have enough common sense not to CAUSE THEIR OWN POP-UP ADS. When good ad blockers like uBlock Origin update, they do it quietly without bothering the user. The people at ABP thought you wouldn't mind annoying adverts if it was from them. Advertising to me a product I already have installed is a sure sign these people do not respect users time.

    I like the ads blocking. I wish it had a way to actively save the whitelist. I keep having to re whitelist things, with an import / export of the config files.

    We appreciate your feedback. We use a system called smart allowlisting: if you do not visit a website that you have allowlisted within 7 days, it gets automatically removed from your allowlisted websites. If you visit it in 7 days, it will get renewed for another 7 days.

    Работает, наверно, лучше всех среди бесплатных адблоков. Иногда на некоторых сайтах проскакивает реклама, но ее можно зарепортить и ее через какое то время убирают

    it says it blocks ads on Yahoo Mail, but it doesn't. Nor on Yahoo.com. at least not on my computer.
