I used to use this, and it served me well. Not only did it block ads, it let me choose annoying elements, like the spaces where ads were, to block entirely.

Sadly, since I let Firefox install the 100.0 iteration, Adblock Plus does basically NOTHING. Well, OK, it lets me install it, but does nothing afterward. Since there's no "Contact us" for ABP, I can't even tell 'em their addon is broken.

So, maybe they'll eventually realize the problem, and if they fix it, I'll revise this review. For now, however, it gets one star. I'd give it NO stars if I could.

Thanks for contacting us! After some research, we've found that some users are experiencing ads due to "always use private mode" enabled. Try disabling this option and let us know if you still have issues. To do this, click the settings menu icon in the right corner of the browser > settings >privacy & security > scroll down to the history section > choose "Use custom settings for history" from the drop down menu > uncheck "always use private browsing mode".     I like the ads blocking. I wish it had a way to actively save the whitelist. I keep having to re whitelist things, with an import / export of the config files.

    We appreciate your feedback. We use a system called smart allowlisting: if you do not visit a website that you have allowlisted within 7 days, it gets automatically removed from your allowlisted websites. If you visit it in 7 days, it will get renewed for another 7 days.

    Работает, наверно, лучше всех среди бесплатных адблоков. Иногда на некоторых сайтах проскакивает реклама, но ее можно зарепортить и ее через какое то время убирают

    it says it blocks ads on Yahoo Mail, but it doesn't. Nor on Yahoo.com. at least not on my computer.

    For non-Premium users, our payment page displays when we update the extension to keep you informed on changes we've made and as a reminder to consider upgrading to Premium. There is no obligation to upgrade and you can dismiss the page by clicking the "x" on the browser tab. You can also dismiss this page by going to the Advanced tab on your ABP settings and unchecking the box next to "Allow Adblock Plus to show occasional promotional messages."

    Creates multiple virus like software applications that are intentionally hard to uninstall. Also not a reputable company, takes your information and tries to hide it from you that they do it.
