It's great to be reading an article and immediately have the details on it and related papers. (And it makes copying the bibtex citation a snap)!

I was also impressed that Google was offering an actually useful plugin instead of the typical "Generative AI" slop they've been famous for recently.
However, I see now that the plugin has not been updated since 2020; well before the rise of LLMs. And unfortunately, this plugin does need an update. Firefox no longer adds an extension's icon to the toolbar by default, you have to check a box at the end of the install process. (If you read the negative reviews here, several ask "where is the Scholar button?")
