Voice typing is one of our Pro features because it costs us money to run the servers that power it. That said, our Pro plan is only $15 a year and gives you access to every feature in Helperbird, not just voice typing.

We think it is a really great value and our voice typing has actually had some incredible improvements recently. We hope you give it a try!

Thank you for your feedback and we are sorry you had trouble with voice typing. Since this review, we have completely rebuilt our voice typing feature from the ground up and it works really well now.

It is a Pro feature at just $15 a year because there are real costs to keep it running, but you get access to everything in Helperbird with that. We would love for you to give it another go, we think you will be impressed with the improvements.

I totally understand your concern about the 1,500-character limit for the free version of Immersive Reader. The great news is we’re increasing that to 2,000 characters in our next update! Since running Immersive Reader has a cost for us, we need to keep a balance between free and paid users, but we’re always working on making it as fair and useful as possible.
