heylogin – Password Manager wót heylogin
Pógódnośenja wót amk
The most convenient password manager I ever used. This is the password manager I use since the last 3 years both as an individual and in my company. I must have tried all major pass managers and none comes close to Heylogin in terms of ease of use and speed. It is cross platform, works perfectly in all browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari), works great on iOS and Android too.
What I love the most is already included in the free plan:
- seamless credential auto filling (just try it once to see how fast it is, works great on 2 step forms too).
- 2FA OTP code auto detection and filling (included in the free plan!).
- Password auto update, no click.
- Swipe phone to unlock, no need to remember any master password, they use phone security chip instead.
- Yubikey/FIDO, TouchID/FaceID, Windows Hello support that works great too.
- Share login links for one time use (similar to send).
- backup codes in case of lost or stolen phone
- Great credential auto import from most pass managers, including KeePass format.
But Heylogin is also the best employee password management I have experienced (I used its business plan in a corporate setup for 2 years):
- fully passwordless login, employees never get to see the passwords at all when they login, very similar too a SSO flow. The onboarding/offboarding flow is very well done.
- Bulk employee import via MS Entra or Google Workspace.
- Login inbox: invite external staff or client to share their credentials securely, neat feature.
- Based and hosted in EU.
What it currently lacks:
- Passkey support?
- File attachments?
- More export formats other than CSV only (KeePass v2?).
- Refining the UI (which is great already, but I find rough on the edges sometimes, this is subjective), adding website logo favicon would be nice.
- More color themes?
- Better folders/tags management: add bulk editing.
All in all, this is the pass manager I would recommend to my family and to any company that wants a frictionless employee credential management.
Truth is, most people do not care about security at all and managing their passwords is an utter mess. I have seen the scariest things regarding security even in IT firms.
Thankfully, Heylogin simplifies all that process both for non techies and IT professionals to enforce security best practices without having to worry about it.
Bridging the gap between these 2 type of users is a huge win as far as I am concerned.
Definitely recommended.

- Leaves lots to be desired. The import process from third party password managers basically destroys the names of all your logins (the names change to random website URLs). I'm also unable to import my TOTPs from authenticator apps like Ente Auth. Many logins do not appear on the login screens of websites even though the URL is correctly matched, I can't even search for it in the search field. Pretty sad, lots of potential but way too many bugs.

Endlich, endlich ein Passwortmanger der nicht nur sicher, sondern auch sehr komfortabel ist. Sei es die Importfunktionen, Backup und viele andere Features. Ein großes Lob!

- This is not a password manager... It is a login assistant only! Where by, the user needs two separate devices to even use this service(one to login in, one to verify login). As a result I'm not able to even get started. Installed on my mobile browser to help with managing browser passwords, was unable to because the add-on has no mechanism to do this. The add-on description is completely void of these relevant details, total waste of time

jo se napisał egy éveHey Chris,
sorry to hear our extension didn't meet your expectations. Our focus is on the best experience on the desktop, using the user's smartphone for authentication. heylogin uses an app (or security key) to manage the user's passwords with quick authentication via push, instead of a master password. The need for an app is in the description, but admittedly rather late.
Cheers
