Since a few days ago this add-on causes endless script error messages on YouTube, both in Firefox and Brave. Time to update!

It requires the user to 'log in' to prove we're not a BOT. Log in to what, exactly? So for me, the extension is useless.

Seit etwa drei bis vier Wochen ist (heutiges Datum 25.07.2024) keine Aufnahme in Youtube mehr möglich. Trotz Entfernung des Add-ins aus Firefox, Deinstallation der ANTDM Software nach Beschreibung des Supports, anschließendem Reboot und neuer Installation mit erneutem Reboot und dann Erneuerung des Add-ons in Firefox erscheint das kleine Ribbon, das sich bisher rechts oben über das Video legte um eine Aufnahme zu starten, nicht mehr - auch wenn die Aufnahmefunktion in den Einstellungen von AntDM eigentlich mit grün eine Funktionalität anzeigt.
Andere Videos, die nicht an YouTube gekoppelt sind, können dagenegen noch immer aufgenommen werden. Offensichtlich will YouTube die Aufnahmen mit AntDM (auch bei anderen Downloadern, z.B. beim Youtube Downloaders, der eine Fehlermeldung ausgibt, geschieht gerade das Gleiche) unterbinden-leider erfolgreich, was mir die Frage aufdrängt, wozu ich dann den Betrag für die PRO Version von AntDM gezahlt habe...

on firefox it only recognizes videos

The little download window appears on pages containing video etc., but it does absolutely nothing, no matter how many times I click the arrow.

I have Ant Download Manager 2.51 (lifetime licence) installed and running, using latest version of firefox etc. too.

Everything works fine in chrome browser, and always has, so I have to use the Ant Download Manager extension with firefox, which always says Native app is outdated, but of course the Get Update button doesn't do anything either, but at least the extension seems to function most of the time, despite the nag.

Not very good. This is not a stand-alone.

Its the most wasted time EVER on downloading software/addons.
45 minutes after installing and STILL not done close to what it says, managing downloads...
Installed "Youtube downloader" and 30 seconds after installing first download was managed and saved.........
