Not only is setting custom rules inordinately difficult, but when I added a new rule, following the documentation, it blocked and overwrote every single tab I had open, (none of which had anything to do with the content of the rule I had written, most of them minimized). Seemingly arbitrarily, this add-on rarely preserves the URL of the site it had just blocked, making it essentially impossible to meaningfully recover anything.
The detour of trying to scan through my history, retracing links and searches to figure out which tabs were for which project and reorganize them is not something that I wanted to do, especially with nothing to show for it.

    Good and useful! I have ADHD so I often find myself doing side quests instead of the projects I want to work on. This addon really helps me focus! Pretty easy to use though I am having a little bit of difficulty finding out how to change the master password because I set it to something that is a little mean to my computer and I feel bad and I don't want to be mean to it anymore. :(

    Works and can be helpful, but still quite buggy. Blocking hours don't hold up, and will randomly reset or become null after a day or two. Also: sometimes opening a URL in a new tab immediately blocks the page from loading (even though it's belongs to the same root domain page that I opened it up from). :'(

    Fixing all this would easily have me give it 5/5

    Creates multiple virus like software applications that are intentionally hard to uninstall. Also not a reputable company, takes your information and tries to hide it from you that they do it.

    It just doesn't work. It can block the main page of a site, but refuses to block any page related to it. I want to block a social media site to stop myself doomscrolling. It will block the frontpage and no other page. Even if I put in the address for the other pages I want to block, it won't block them. WHY!?

    Suddenly stopped working. Can't add sites to blocklist, pages on the blocklist aren't blocked consistently.

    Nice extemsion, one issue;

    One of the first sites i blocked, is webextension.org.

    I hate it when Extensions like this keep spontaneausly opening websites after updates, with no way to opt out...

    i m using it from too long and loved it..
    just need 1 addition.. i wants to add domain with right click from history page..
    currently i need to right click > Copy link > Any current page and clicking on block site extension. then paste and removing suffix and prefix.
    so i think this optional feature may usefull for all its users

    Doesn't work anymore for me on Windows 11. It used to on Windows 10. Waste of time.

    Yeah, Random Sites Started Popping Up and it Wanted to "Disable WebExtensions"??? I Don't Care if this Add-on comes with a decent 3.9-Star Rating [That's a 78/100, a C+ Grade] (Out Of 512 Reviews) & 73,320 Users (as of 10/10/25) - if it opens stuff randomly over & over and asks that of me, I am concerned about my PC, You Never Can Be Too Careful These Days with Scams, Fraud, & Phising, afterall. An Excellent Idea, However, I'm Concerned About This Add-on's Authenticity & Security, & Will Not Be Running it On MY PC, for sure.

    I need a solution to temporarily block access to a few opened tabs. But this add-on doesn't block tabs temporarily, it destroys them permanently.
