Hello Skpiste,

I'm very sorry to hear about your negative experience with the Ebates Add-On. If you would like to prevent the Ebates add-on from prompting you on certain sites like Ebay, you can by doing the following:
1. Click on the Ebates icon
2. Click the settings in the bottom left of the popup
3. Check "Do not display Activation Hover on these sites"
4. Click on "these sites" and add "ebay.com" to the field then click save.

If you'd like to turn the add-on back on for those sites, simply uncheck the option by going back into settings.

    Sells the ish out of your personal data, but at least you get a cut. Hopefully we can get some laws that actually protect us soon.... err at least 50% of what they make from our data.

    ALWAYS shop local over a small kickback for selling your personal information, of course.

    Rakuten: get the damn "icon" off my screen err at least give me the option, WTF - deactivated

    We are sorry that newer icon feature isn't to your liking. You can slide that icon out of the way, up and down the viewed page. If this new feature is in the way, you can always uninstall our extension and shop directly through our app or through our website, Rakuten.com, going forward.

    Installed and two out of two purchases did not track. Simply doesn't work. Contacted Rakuten and received the generic "we will reach out" response. Hard to believe there is something worse than their normal tracking. So not only is this add on extremely intrusive with pop ups it doesn't work.

    Reply to developer response: How exactly will you "review this" other than to say we'll reach out to the merchant and if they didn't track it then it is the users fault? Fact is there are better cash back sites that actually have relationships with merchants rather than Rakuten's "oh well, it's your fault" response.

    You can get our extension back up and running by uninstalling it from your copy of Firefox (if installed). Then, you can download our Rakuten Browser Extension from our website, Rakuten.com, or through Firefox Browser Add-Ons page.     This used to be awesome. For the past year after I click on the cash back icon and confirm, NOTHING. I've literally lost hundreds of dollars since this app doesn't work. I've been promised money back, I click on what needs to be done, it's confirmed and NOTHING. It's a scam.

    If you see you are making Shopping Trips and our extension is activating, then it may be some internet traffic filtering service or VPN is active or an issue with the merchant recognizing the order as eligible for Cash Back through us.     It said 20%. I used this as opposed to a promo with another website for vitamins. I got zilch. Nothing whatsoever after it popped up showing me 20%. Completed order.
