wót n_core, 3 years agoI already use the latest version, and it has some problem with downloading images from the Posts or Tagged section.
If you press the download button from Posts and it doesn't download anything, this plugin will eat your RAM until the browser stops responding because it ran out of memory.
My normal Firefox RAM usage is usually 1-2 GB, but when this problem happened it skyrocketed to 5-7 GB (and probably even more if I have more RAM.)
I think there's something wrong with this plugin, and can you please fix it?
Also, you can't download stuff from a post link. You have to be in the profile account to be able to download it.

Unfortunately now video story download seems to be broken and often the extension stops working and I have to disable then enable it to start downloading again.
May you find the time to fix it, please?

I'll delete the review as soon as it's fixed. - Z 3 z 5 pógódnośonywót ryandtw, 16 days agoThanks for the extension, but as of 4/28/2026 downloading videos isn't working properly (unless it's from a regular profile page; downloading videos after directly opening video link or through reels tab or through stories does NOT work)

- Z 4 z 5 pógódnośonywót ffuser1010, a year agoThis add-on is really useful and easy to use. The only downside is that it removes your like instantly after you've given one on a post. It's been like this for years. If only it could be fixed, I'd happily give it 5 stars.

ps: it will crash with "Facebook Container" add ons - Z 1 z 5 pógódnośonywót mb9023, a year agosometimes works but uses crazy resources and lags my entire firefox every time I open a new ig page. have found another 'downloader for instagram' extension that made me realize I didn't know ig could be so fast.

- Z 3 z 5 pógódnośonywót Nw994, 2 years agoIt worked great until a few days ago. Unfortunately, the download function no longer works properly. Photos almost always work, but downloading videos is no longer possible. I would be happy if someone took a look at it and the problem can be solved.
