Yeah it doesn't work and needs updating because instagram now prevents the slider from moving naturally.

Meta changed something. All extensions across all browser engines have stopped working for video control.

Definitely a necessary thing, though currently not working due to IG UI change. Might work again soon if updated.

Works great. Even included playback speed selection I was not expecting.

This extension was a 5/5 until recently when it started doubling the audio. this review noticed the exact same thing: https:// addons. mozilla. org/ en-US/ firefox/ addon/ instagram-video-control/ reviews/ 2602103/ . If this is fixed, then it will go back to being a 5/5.

stopped working all of a sudden

I was pulling my hair out with the lack of video controls on Instagram and finally came across this extension. It's PERFECT!

The extension is very good overall, however when opening videos from the search list, the sound is duplicated (playing both the one from the list and the one from the window that opens).
And when trying to open them in a new tab, I discovered that Firefox crashes (even restarting and reporting an error message) when opening about 3-5 windows.

NOTE: I tried opening about 25 tabs with video without the extension and had no problems.
