Unfortunately this is a buyer beware. I paid for the service but am unable to activate my account on other devices, and I still have the usage cap on all devices. I messaged them at both customer service emails last weekend, and included screenshots of my payment. They haven't responded.

Not a bad extension... if it wasn't a trial and require a subscription to use. You only get 50 link previews a day??? Why is that arbitrarily paywalled, get out of here.

Superb add-on, easily saves space on pages, making navigation more efficient and convenient

Very useful add-on when you don't want to open a bunch of tabs while doing some research. 50 free previews per day is probably enough for most people but I don't like being limited and i see value in the other pro features so i decided to purchase a pro lifetime license. AI page summaries are a nice inclusion too.

You don't have to open a new window to get distracted. Really need it to save lots of time switch from different windows.

AI need token sure, but every local preview cost a token is riduculous. and a lifetime AI of a soon to be outdated model? and charge you extra when that model is expired which is expected in a few years? this is 100% scam

This is a pretty good extension. I especially like that you can disable this extension on certain websites. The AI is also pretty useful in a pinch.

Greed is not the word. Who pays for a link previewer and complains that it takes resources... Nobody wants that ai garb.

Yeah no thanks I'm reporting this. Read all the 1* reviews about unnencessary bloat and locking basic features behind a paywall. The author thinks it's obvious what the extension is for, and obvious that functionality is limited without payment.

They replied to one review, saying 'MaxFocus offers more than just link previews, with features like AI and themes, all clearly mentioned "on the box."'.

Well, first search for the extension in the add-ons store: it's called "MaxFocus: Link Preview".

Then find it in FF's extension manager: it's called "MaxFocus: Link Preview & AI Assistant".

Regarding providing link previews only (which lets face it will be the reason why most people install this without reading the bottom half of the description where you buried the PRO limitations) ... that functionality only 'requires resources' if the author chooses to build it in a way that is profitable for the author. There are other better, not-functionally-restricted extensions that manage to accomplish only providing link previews by using only your device's resources, because their author instead chose to build them in a way that is functionally useful to the user.

Finally, if you read this far, your settings to disable the AI buttons don't even work.
