This Extension has saved me from such a headache of Firefox's default home page with it constantly populating with random stuff even when everything is turned off. I only use the home page for 2 things search and quick navigation using already pinned shortcuts. I dont need a feed I dont need the last search I made to be cluttering my pinned shortcuts I dont need a clock the browsers logo or anything else that most other home pages push on you. My only request is for this to have animated backgrounds but its literally the only thing I could ask for.

Самое лучшее расширение для новой вкладки, так еще и на русском языке!. Не думал что можно сделать такую глубокую кастомизацию так просто для новичков вроде меня. И то что можно сделать либо минимализм страничку либо громоздкую с кучей папок и сайтами как я люблю))0 Также круто то что есть экспорт всех настроек и местоположения ярлыков папок и так далее. Это так круто, что позволяет между браузерами прыгать. Разработчик даже создал версию для Chrome и FireFox. Какой же разраб легенда! Огромное спасибо ему

The mb limit for backgrounds makes this a no go for me. 2mb is really tiny.
If the firefox home page can do an animated gif/apng with 0 limits, why can't this?

I love this! Easily customizeable and modular.

This is a greatly customizable extension, but there are some issues. The snap grid sometimes actually doesn't let you center stuff the way you want, and there is no way to change how it behaves. Second thing, it doesn't change it's sizing based on the size of the screen, so if I unplug my laptop from my monitor, the layout gets ruined.

Top tier add-on, extremely customizable. You can literally add websites to your homepage, for example i have todoist on my homepage so that i can easily review and add tasks, and also everythings resizable.

Renewed Tab is pretty great, the pictures are beautiful, the settings are very clear, and its quite customizable. The only reason its not a 5 star is because it slows down if you increase the widget board past normal on "work mode" ( at least on my computer) and you can't make the picture change on command, more frequently, or move. But over all, Renewed Tab is quite a good extension. If I could give it 4.5 I would.

for some reson my firefox defalt home page didnt have the option to chose your own image for the backround so thats wuy i got this and i was able to make a much beter one

holy cow, i finally found a tab extension that does essentially all i want out of the box. i love the level of customization possible, and i nearly have my perfect new tab page after some css tweaks. more customization options would be welcome, but this is the absolute best extension for my needs right now.
