This is a great extension that uses the OS's built-in offline voices with customizable settings so no additional software is required.

Voices aren't organized in any way. Very slow to load the drop down every single time. Doesn't seem to respect the volume slider. Very loud ear-shredding 90s-quality voices. No documentation about how it connects to the "OS" TTS engine, so it isn't clear to me how I would begin to go about getting better voices.

Maybe works well on other OSes, but not on this one.

This is a great plug-in and I use it all the time. My only wish is that there was a 3x speed. Can we get that feature added?

I have used this app for nearly three years. It is a wonderful app, especially if you have to spend hours online. It does wonders to relieve eye strain.

I expected to get the web page in a spoken form, not to have a box to put text into or just to have the selected text be read.
